The official English X account for the KAGURABACHI anime has launched a special contest to honor the birthday of lead character Chihiro Rokuhira on August 11.
The promotion will hand out a limited‑edition Chihiro character art postcard—unavailable for purchase—to ten lucky participants. The card showcases Chihiro alongside his newly unveiled anime character illustration.
Fans must follow the official English X account for the KAGURABACHI anime and repost the giveaway announcement to join. Entries will be accepted until 11:59 p.m. JST on August 21, 2026.
KAGURABACHI has been featured in Weekly Shonen Jump since September 2023. As of May 1 2026, eleven volumes have been released and the series has already sold over four million copies. It claimed the Next Manga Award 2024 in the Print Category, and VIZ Media holds the English licensing rights.
The plot centers on young Chihiro, who was trained by his father to become a swordsmith. After his father’s murder, Chihiro vows revenge, facing off against yakuza and sorcerers. The anime adaptation by studio Cypic is scheduled to premiere in April 2027, with a preview of the first twenty minutes shown at Anime Expo 2026.
